Indoor Bowls
The indoor bowls section of the North Shore Cosmopolitan Club will now be part of the Browns Bay Bowling Club.
With the “Cossie Club” closing down, Browns Bay was approached to see if the indoor section could use its facilities and the board has had no hesitation in welcoming them into the fold. It was a “no brainer” according to Browns Bay chairman, Tim Preston.
“After many successful years, our own indoor section ended last year and it is great that we can now once again offer our members the opportunity to play a different format of the game,” he said
The new indoor team is keen to build their playing numbers and would welcome any existing members (and outside players) who want to join in. The first night for the season will be on Wednesday March 16 starting at 7.30 pm with names into the match committee before 7.15pm on the night. The current indoor season will run until the end of October.
