RICHARD's Corner-2-Corner
It all starts Thursday evening 6th January - running for 6 weeks with the final on the following Thursday 20th February.
This is a quick and fun competition which occurs prior to the raffles and membership draw on club night.
Entries to Peter Angel by 5.30pm, start at 5.45pm and finish by 6.15pm.
Entry fee is $2.00 per person per week, and this kitty is divided amongst the winners of the "Finals".
Entrants start at the corner nearest the roundabout with two bowls each.
The aim is to get your bowls as close as possible to the opposite corner, about 50m.
The TWELVE closest to the corner go through to the second round.
After round 2, the SIX closest go through to round 3.
The winner is the player with the bowl closest to the corner in Round 3.
First and second positions each week qualify for the finals.
