ROLL UP BOWLS
Rollup Bowlers are at the heart of our club. We have a nucleus of about 50 players who enjoy a friendly relaxed type of bowling on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons.
Many new bowlers eager to learn the game and get some coaching start with us and depending on how serious they want to get, they then have a pathway to enter more competitive formats of the sport. We have dedicated helpers to guide blind, handicaped and wheelchair bowlers.
Of course, we are all competitive and like to win, but for only as long as the enjoyment of bowling is there.
Graeme Bennett and Lyn Cooper make up the team running our twice weekly Roll Up days. Always keeping it interesting and fun, keep an eye out for those extra special days when an impromptu lunch or afternoon tea is arranged. Always a cuppa in-between the games, time for a quick catch up and a laugh at the end of the afternoon’s play
